Welcome! It is here I hope to keep all of my sponsors and supporters up to date about my everyday life as a full time Biathlete. I will post regular updates about how my training and race season is progressing, which will hopefully provide a little insight as to exactly what my life is all about. With the Sochi 2014 Olympics fast approaching, I invite you to join me on my journey as I pursue my dreams...
I'm in Scandinavia at the moment to officially kick off my race season. Access to internet has been limited, so I'll have a more in depth update about how things are going when I'm more connected.
In the meantime attached is an article from Fasterskier.com about our races last weekend and Canada's start to the new season!
A huge thank you to all sponsors both continuing and new, who are on board for the upcoming season! Without your generosity I would not be where I am today. Thank You!
I was born and raised in Hay River, NT and am a member of Canada’s National Biathlon Team. Being from the north, it is almost impossible not to start skiing as the winters are so long.
I have always been passionate about biathlon and for as long as I can remember I have had the dream of being an Olympian. I decided from a young age that I would do everything within my power to reach this goal. My dream turned into reality after years of hard work when I dawned the start line at the Vancouver 2010 Olympics!!! I now train in Canmore, AB, at the newly refurbished ’88 Olympic venue, and am currently preparing to represent Canada and the North at races around the globe.
